For Christmas this year Julie took me, Emily and Andrea to the Michael Buble concert! Woo Woo! It was so so so great! We all went to dinner first, then to the show. YAY!
This is all of us at the beginning of the concert. They had an a Capella group open and they were amazing. We didn't know that was what was happening at first and I MAY have kind of made fun of one of the guys cause he was playing 'air guitar'---but then we realized that all the guys were pretending to play the sound that they were making. The guy doing the drums was AWESOME! Each new sound was spot on!
They did great and then it was time for Mr. Buble :) His voice is amazing and I love everything that he sings! He was quite the performer sliding all over the stage on his slippery shoes and telling jokes. The stage floor lifted up and was really fun to watch during the show. At one spot in his performance he got off the stage, walked from one end of the room to the stage at the other end--BY US! That was awesome.
He sang, "All You Need is Love" by the beetles and they shot millions of little hearts up into the air all over the arena and the blowers kept blowing the whole song so the little hearts just danced all over....that sounded super lame--but I assure you--it was awesome!
It was an awesome and great Christmas present and I loved it! Thanks Julie!
