George is 60 and Conference in Evanston

Jess' Dad turned 60 this year! Woo Woo!  So we spent the weekend celebrating by singing happy birthday, eating cake and watching conference :)  

On Saturday Jess had some notes to condense for his finals and had told us all that he wasn't going to get distracted for anything.....he was doing so good and focusing until the pull to make his dad special birthday glasses got the best of him.  I think he made a great choice though. That boy's got talent.

The rest of our time was spent on fancy upside down conference tricks, dueling with pipe cleaners, birthday present scavenger hunts and games :) Living so close to family is wonderful.

Each session was a little different this year. One with packets, one with legos, one with tinker toys, another one with....other stuff.  But the messages were amazing and fantastic.  We are soooo blessed to have a living prophet and to be able to hear his messages so often!
